John Roselli (1905-1976)

Born Filippo Sacco and sometimes called “Handsome Johnny”, he helped the Chicago crime syndicate to control Hollywood and Las Vegas. He was involved in several scams that emptied many a celebrity’s pockets. Under the cover of his «job» as a movie producer, he will obtain her first role for a young actress known as Marylin Monroe who, according to several rumours, was John F. Kennedy’s mistress. In the early 60’s, he will also be tied to a C.I.A.-backed assassination attempt on Fidel Castro. Conspirationists have also given him a role in Kennedy’s assassination, but these allegations were never substantiated. In fact, rumour has it that he was actually one of the shooters present at Dealy Plaza on Nov. 22nd, 1963. In the 70s, he will testify at the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCIA) with regards to Operation Mongoose — a plot to assassinate Fidel Castro in which David Ferrie, Oswald and several others were allegedly involved — as well as concerning JFK’s death. He will go missing after his first round of questionning. The FBI was ordered to investigate and, on August 9th, 1976, his body will be found in a vat in Miami Bay. He had been strangled and stabbed and his legs had been sawed off. All appearances point to the fact that he was executed for breaking the Omertà.
