Mertz was a member of the French Connection and a double agent for the French Secret Services. He his also one of the presumed assassins who were allegedly present at Dealy Plaza on November 22nd, 1963. It is a known fact that he was expelled from the U.S. less than 48 hours after JFK’s assassination and that the expulsion order came directly from RFK’s office. He was also one of the two men on board the car from which Rose Cheramie was kicked out a few days before Kennedy’s assassination.
